I have been with Gubbachi Learning Community for 8 months co-teaching Kannada and English, and running the library at the host school GHPS, Kodathi. After completing an MA in Education, I worked at an alternative school in Bangalore for one year and learnt a lot from wonderful 8 year olds. Post a short sabbatical Gubbachi happened - I am here learning from the children lessons on life, strength, courage, resilience and unconditional love. I am grateful for this humbling experience!

Aakanksha is a fourth-year student at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst studying Communication. She is very passionate about human rights, education and media. This summer, she helped us set up our website.
